FanHouse's Top Five: Merril Hoge Slips

1) Live TV lends itself to mistakes. After all, there are no second or third takes. It is you and the camera and if you mess up, your error is there for the world to see. Which is why I feel a bit of sympathy for Merril Hoge over at Larry Brown Sports. Obviously, he had other things on his mind. (Somewhat NSFW language over there.)

2) Our main man David Warner already touched on this game over the weekend, but if you have not seen the video highlights of the L.A. Galaxy vs. New York Red Bulls tilt, do yourself a favor and watch them now. Whoever edited that thing together deserves an Oscar.

3) If you're looking for a moral compass on the state of today's NBA, click on over to Foul Balls -- the Pussycat Dolls will show you the way.

4) Head over to the Angry T to check out its All-Bust Team. Curtis Enis, where have you gone?

5) As KSK reminds us, this Adrian Peterson guy might just work out for the Vikings after all.

WHAT IS
BACK PORCH?

The easy answer:
Back Porch exists because FanHouse doesn't have a basement for its bloggers. The bigger picture? BP covers sports news that's funny, off-beat and controversial. In short, it's the other side of sports, covered with an edge. Enjoy.
