You can always count on Bob Costas to say just the right thing, and he certainly did when he joined Mike and Mike in the Morning on ESPN Radio this morning:
(Video via Awful Announcing)
Twenty seconds into the video, Costas said, "Maybe you would have been better off if I had replaced someone on the dais," clearly referring to the Mike and Mike roast, at which ESPN's Dana Jacobson went on a profane rant for which she was suspended a week.
And that's why I love Costas: He knows the Mike and Mike roast is a taboo subject, but he goes ahead and talks about it anyway. For a guy who's about as mainstream as it gets, Costas sure is cheeky.

Amen. Love Costas and his willingness to approach any subject with class and good humor.
Neat find, Michael.

So true. Costas says stuff like that and I always laugh before I realize how calmly he just went over the top.

Bob Costos is a jerk. The way he has gone after Bonds but deals with Clemens like he probably didn't do it shows a personal bias that controls his opinions.
