The world's No. 1 player is out of Wimbledon at the hands of the world's No. 131 player.
Ana Ivanovic was upset by China's Zheng Jie in the most surprising result yet in this championship. Coming off her first Grand Slam title at the French Open, Ivanovic was one of the favorites entering Wimbledon, but Jie made surprisingly quick work of her, 6-1, 6-4.
As a doubles player Jie has won championships at both Wimbledon and the Australian Open, but this is the biggest win of her career as a singles player.
"This is a tough match because she has a good serve and a big forehand, so I just tried to give her the backhand more," said Jie afterward. "I'm surprised I won the match."

I am so surprised!! I don't like Ivanovic though it's good there's a change in tennis!! I play tennis and I'm a top 100 southern tennis player so I've seen all the grand slams. Zheng has a good chance of going far in the tournament but she has some obstacles the William sisters will crush her though

Zheng won't get crushed but Venus will beat her though!! Zheng has had a great tournament so far and I hope that she will be recognized for this! I am glad she took out Ana Ivanovic, and she might get to the semis!! She has potential to be in the top 10
