Former Fresno State Sexual Harrasment Trial Winner Set to Become Minor League GM

Stacy Johnson-Klein may be the envy of lazy people everywhere (I'd absolutely take some sexual harassment from a female boss if it meant retiring) but she's certainly not lazy herself. Despite being the proud new owner of several million one dollar bills, she's already back in the workplace.

She'll be dealing with pro-jocks this time though, as Johnson-Klein accepted the position as general manager of the Lawton Fort Sill Cavalry, a minor league basketball team in Oklahoma.
And as she prepares to put Fresno behind her, Johnson-Klein also is seeking a movie and book deal from her experiences here, hiring celebrity attorney Gloria Allred to help broker a deal. Allred did the same for Amber Frey, the former lover of convicted murderer Scott Peterson.

Signed to a yearly contract for a six-figure salary, Johnson-Klein is expected to move out of her Clovis home in the next few weeks, said her Fresno attorney, Warren Paboojian.
Well, that's good. I'm glad she can move on and ... wait a minute. She's getting paid six figures to be the GM of a minor league basketball team in the middle of Oklahoma? Whaaaa?

Not that six figures is even that "rich" these days, but it's a little surprising to see a minor league basketball team carve that out of it's operating budget for someone with zero front office experience that I'm aware of.

So, you can call it what you like, but I'm calling it "primarily for publicity". Especially when you consider that Johnson-Klein has a book and movie coming out. Frankly, I can't wait -- it should be painkiller.
