Shelley Singer, the cheerleading coach at Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, is probably wishing right about now that we didn't live in the age of the cell phone camera. Here's a look at Singer and a photo of her that was posted online:

The photo shows Singer at a party with her daughter. Singer is holding a beer bong, and her 18-year-old daughter is holding a beer can. And because of that picture, some in the school district are questioning whether Singer is fit to be a cheerleading coach. The school district will say only that "action was taken," but they won't comment on what the action was.

Singer's attorney, Terry Hall, say his client "did not bring or supply alcoholic beverages to anyone."

The photos surfaced on the web site TheDirty.com, which has also posted embarrassing photos of Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith, former NBA player Dan Majerle, the Arizona State cheerleaders and others in the world of sports. Singer isn't the first to learn that embarrassing pictures are likely to crop up online, and she won't be the last.
