This is Fliehr's third brush with law enforcement officials. In March, he was charged with driving while impaired and in June 2007, he was charged with assault with intent to inflict serious injury.
Fliehr was released after posting $15,000 in bail.
The youngest son of Ric Flair, Fliehr followed in his brother, David, and father's footsteps by pursuing a career in professional wrestling. While he has been working the independent wrestling scene, he did compete in two World Championship Wrestling matches in 1998 and 2000.
An accomplished high school wrestler, Fliehr attacked an opponent, Colby Hardin, after Hardin mocked Ric Flair's wrestling strut following a 2005 prep match. As a result, Fliehr was suspended for three meets the following season and both schools were fined $1,000.
The "Flair" family is no stranger to police arrests. In 2005, Ric Flair was arrested following a road rage incident after he allegedly got out of his car and attacked a motorist. The charges were later dropped. His daughter, Ashley, was arrested in 2008 for assaulting a police officer after police tried to break up a fight involving Ric Flair, Ashley and her boyfriend. The tussle reportedly left the wrestling legend "bloodied and bruised."

It is a shame to hear about Ricks Son. Heroin has been a evil life ending drug for too many Americans. Stop the war on drugs legalize them tax them and treat the addicts. It is far cheaper than the war on drugs. You may as well call it a war on our own youth.

This is a sad story of another young life teetering on the brink of disaster. Yes, it is about choice ~ but the pull of this drug is so strong, once the choice is made to 'try it' .. life becomes intolerable without it. This child needs prayer for recovery and healing ~ not words of criticism and ridicule. Blue Kentucky Girl

INSIDERS SAY THAT DADDY FLAIR'S PROMOTION OF HUCKABEE WAS A PRELUDE TO HIS RUNNING FOR A SOUTH CAROLINA SENATE SEAT (I know he claims to be from Charlotte, N.C.) Another example of a reactionary "family" conservative too self absorbed to tend to their own family's dysfunction, a la Governor Hot Legs in Alaska.

do like holland does, make drugs legal, than they wont be such a big deal. no profit for the dealers and people wouldnt have to kill to get them. we have too much corruption also to get rid of them. the drugs are taken off the streets and put right back in.

Sounds like the kid needs some serious rehab. I would never blame an adult for what their adult kid does, they are old enough to make decisions.
As far as though those idiots who say we should legelize all drugs, weed maybe. But hard stuff, no way!! Love ya Natch!!!

I do not condone drug use. Period. But, If one takes a look at the same situation in Holland, there is very little crime due to their policies. Also, the rate of addiction is much lower based on population. Intervention is needed I agree. Compare the cost to house them compared to helping them. It is staggering.
