Mr. Jerardi,
Let me lay a racing story on you. I am sitting up watching the 11 pm racing show from Delaware Park Thursday night. I notice the rail on the dirt seems real good. I noticed this happened in November two years ago when Breeders Cup was at Churchill. When horses got into the three, four path they look like they are in mud. I call a racing degenerate from my mail truck Friday and I ask him since Quality Road is scratched ( i thought his race against Dunkirk made him the bonafide fav) I want to bet whoever Borel is riding since that boy is the rail king. I go to the turf Club at Concordville and bet 80 to win on Mine that Bird. I look at the form later and see that 1 for 34 trainer and say Damn thats ugly. I watch the Derby and catch my second Derby winner in 30 years. The other was Funny Cide. Two Derby winners in 30 years and their both geldings! Thanks for listening to another degenerate horse fan.
Ed
