Brawl Breaks Out at Russian Women's Handball Game

Today's bizarre sports video of the day comes from a women's handball game in Russia, where some hard fouls led to a full-scale brawl between the two teams, Dynamo Volgograd and Zvezda.

Handball is a very popular sport in Eastern Europe, and although it doesn't look like there was a very big crowd, according to Russia Today, this was a very big game: Dynamo Volgograd vs. Zvezda was for the Russian women's championship. So you can understand why tensions were high.

But when players started knocking each other to the floor, tensions got too high, and by the end there was a full-on fight, chock full of hair pulling and slapping. Incidentally, Dynamo Volgograd won the game and the championship.
