The crash above, from a motorcycle speedway race in Sweden on Tuesday, looks ugly: Denmark's Hans Andersen collides with Russia's Emil Sayfutdinov, and Sweden's Andreas Jonsson also gets caught up in it. But all three riders are reportedly OK.
Andersen tells Britain's Daily Echo:
"I'm just completely battered and bruised.Andersen is the captain of Denmark's speedway team, which won the Speedway World Cup in 2006 and 2008."But it's been confirmed that no bones have been broken.
"I have a problem with my left hand. I took a big knock to the hand and I hardly have any movement in my fingers.
"It was a big crash and I fell over the fence, so at the moment I just have to sit back and give it time.
"I'll wait and see what happens. I'll see my physio and go from there because my whole body is battered and bruised.
"I'll be devastated if I have to miss the World Cup because it means so much to all of us Danish boys."
