The disgusting (and illegal) voyeuristic inspiration that led to video of an unknowing Erin Andrews nude in a hotel room didn't stop users from searching for the clip. Some of those users, though, got bitten by a group of hackers who tricked thousands into downloading a virus they claimed was the video.Taking advantage of what was a highly-searched topic over the weekend, many sites set up links advertising the video, even after ESPN, Andrews' employer, and her lawyer put forth a strong legal effort to get all traces of the real video taken offline with threats towards anyone who published it.
"Hackers are no slacks when it comes to taking advantage of a hot Internet search trend. And they have been quick to set up bogus Web pages claiming to contain the video footage of Ms. Andrews in her hotel room," Graham Cluley of the anti-virus software company Sophos told USA Today.
"While alone in the privacy of her hotel room, Erin Andrews was surreptitiously videotaped without her knowledge or consent. She was the victim of a crime and is taking action to protect herself and help ensure that others are not similarly violated in the future. Although the perpetrator or perpetrators of this criminal act have not yet been identified, when they are identified she intends to bring both civil and criminal charges against them and against anyone who has published the material. We request respect of Erin's privacy at this time, while she and her representatives are working with the authorities."The person(s) responsible for the video and its subsequent publication has yet to be identified.

Whatever...it's going to get there anyway now.
Too late...litigators...haters.
I agree 100% cterry. I saw her at a Mets game about a year ago and she was wearing the tightest pants I've ever seen on a woman. She looked like she was going to a nightclub, not to work. She's a groupie, not a real reporter.
sports, you wouldn't know sports if it kicked you in the arse or somewhere else.I sure as hades don't turn it on to see your sorry arse.
She throws her physical attributes out there, and then complains when someone else does it.
She's a poor reporter but she is very hot.
Personally, the people who tried to download the bogus video got what they deserve. If they want to look a naked people - then go rent some porn flicks. She was taped surreptitiously - for those who don't have a vocabulary - that means without her knowledge or consent - and has a right to her privacy - how would you feel if you were in the privacy of your home (or hotel)and someone was taping you for a run on the internet?
i dont knwo whats worse, the stupid ads people are trying to sell on here, or the retared comments about EA.. she worked her ass off to get where she is at and it has nothing to do with hooking up with a rich athlete..IDIOTS
I don't feel sorry for her or anyone that got the stupid virus
Erin Andrews is pretty but not exceptionally so. There are lots of women prettier than she. Someone mentioned earlier that the only reason she got the job of reporting sideline was to try and snag one of the rich athletes. That my be true. But it may also be true that she just love sports and is knowledgeable enough to report on it. Is that too far fetched to believe?
Scum with the media violate the rights and privacy of citizens everyday. I think it's funny it's happened to one of their bimbos.
Hubba! Hubba!
Yes, there is a video and I screwed up my computer with a virus getting to it. Don't bother looking for it on the web as a video, rapidshare and megaupload has it.
But yes, absolutely she put herself in this position, she knew the risks with all the attention she was getting before.
Yea and next they are gonna get video of your wife and or daughter see how you feel about it then
I'm not married, and don't have any kids. I really realize what happened to her was very wrong, and I apologize. I was just trying to razz people up a little bit.
Although, I do realize that this was a very inapropriate topic to do so.
I am truly, truly, sorry.
who the hell wants to see this old fake brawd naked in a video. lets get some hotter videos!
ANYONE STUPID ENOUGH TO CLICK ON THOSE X-RATED WEB SITES DESERVRS TO GET A VIRUS. I HOPE MR. POWER COLON CLEANSE CLICKS ON ONE. ITS REALLY A DUDE POSTING THOSE STUPID ADS.
Good News! But too bad it didn't infect every low life who sought the sick video. You're no better than rapists.
lighten up loser; its impossible to film through a keyhole or a eyepiece; its a publicity scam; besides she is average looking at best!!!!!
bobsmith, I agree 100%. This clown taped through a frigging keyhole? All these woman haters on here are pretty suspect too. If you can't stand women, maybe you're hiding your real preference.
She actually is a very good reporter. She's always prepared and is knowledgeable about a number of different sports. She asks good questions and isn't afraid to ask tough questions.
The person who filmed her committed a felony offense and I hope he's apprehended and imprisoned. The web sites who posted the video should be prosecuted and sued by her civilly.
For Christs sake, how would some of you like it if someone did that to your daughter?!
Heck, those sorry SOB's are probably peeping at their own daughters thru a peephold or keyhold
So how the hell do you think this bimbo got her job with ESPN anyway? I would say most likely by knowing who to blow off and who to screw over.
The video will be back online, that's for sure. Some funny guy on the otherside of the globe will upload it.
If it's on the internet, it's written in stone and is in Moses' hands.
