Elena Keldibekoba Makes the Volleyball Highlight of the Year

If you're like 99.9% of American sports fans, you're not much going to care when I tell you that Peru beat Argentina in women's volleyball over the weekend to advance to the World Championships. But you should watch the video below anyway.



That was Elena Keldiibekoba running way, way, way back and then showing off her soccer skills, saving a point by kicking the ball over her shoulder, over the net and in bounds. An absolutely incredible show of hustle and on-court awareness by Keldibekoba, and some awfully good play by her teammates, too.

I'm part of that 99.9% of American sports fans who doesn't know anything about international women's volleyball, so maybe I'm not qualified to say this. But I feel comfortable calling that the volleyball highlight of the year.
