After losing to FCS opponent William & Mary in their home opener, Virginia could have used a pep talk from Maury Ballstein. "What do we do when we fall off the horse? ... We get back on!"
One week later, the same advice quite literally applies to CavMan, the Wahoos' horseback-riding sword-waver.
Looks like Sabre doesn't like the Cavaliers' play any more than the fans do. Fortunately, Virginia doesn't employ Mr. Ed, or CavMan could have faced some choice words to go along with his bruised bum.
Oh, and Virginia went on to lose 30-14 against No. 16 Texas Christian. Probably not too long before coach Al Groh is working in the mines.
UPDATE: Unbelievably dumb CGI context courtesy of BlazingWithPhelps. Though props must be given to animated CavMan. Punching an opposing mascot into oncoming traffic beats falling off of a live horse every time.
