As an NFL season ticket holder, I've seen more than my fair share of drunk people yelling at one other and, ultimately, getting their asses hauled out of the stadium in handcuffs. I recall one particular Steelers vs. Ravens game in 2006 -- on Christmas Eve, no less -- where some random guy had his nose busted open in a fight, and like 95 percent (a number I made up, but it just seemed right based on my experiences) of all stadium incidents, it involved fans of the same team fighting one another. Kind of like these Lions fans who decided to distract themselves from the teams 19th consecutive loss on Sunday by, well, screaming at each other and getting arrested. Video (with some NSFW language) after the jump.
Like I said, I'm desensitized to these types of encounters in stadiums, so the objects in this particular video that stand out to me the most, as a football fan, are the Brett Favre Vikings jersey (unnatural), the Roy Williams Lions jersey (jersey foul since he now plays for the Cowboys), and the Randall Cunningham Vikings jersey (just so random). And how about the poor guy in the front row that just wants to watch the "[expletive] football game?"
Additional video of the long walk of shame can be seen here.
