A group of college students who film themselves making trick shots and collectively go by the name Dude Perfect have posted video of what they say is the longest basketball shot ever made, off the third deck of Kyle Field at Texas A&M. One angle is above; the other angle is below.
As far as I can tell, this is a legitimate video and not a CGI creation like Michael Vick throwing a football out of a stadium. Although the distance of the shot is largely aided by gravity, the accuracy from so far away is impressive indeed. Good stuff, Dude Perfect.
