Relatively speaking, it was a good week for Brady Quinn. He didn't spend Sunday afternoon getting body slammed, and for the first time all season, he wasn't primarily responsible for the Browns losing. Of course, you can't expect Quinn to make it from one Sunday to the next without getting clowned at least once. Which is exactly what happened last Thursday as he took in show at the Cleveland House of Blues. Via the Cleveland Plain-Dealer (via Dawg Pound Daily, FanSided and WL):
Grammy Award-winning rap artist Common delighted the House of Blues crowd in Cleveland on Thursday night with his range as one of the true lyrical talents in hip hop. ...Happy ending, though: the Plain-Dealer reports that "At the show, Quinn grinned and took the comments in stride." Right, because after getting benched for Derek Anderson, there's not much you can say that would make Quinn feel any worse.
When Common freestyled, he poked fun during his flow that he "won't mess up like Brady Quinn." Common then mentioned Derek Anderson in the next verse. After some "oohhs" and "ahhs" and a few chuckles from the crowd, it was noticed that Quinn was in the audience with several of his teammates.

Oh wonderful another football player whos highlight of the week is being spotted in a club, but this is not for a criminal act, but the punchline of a joke...WOW Brady, your something,,not named starter, so if nothing else lets go out and watch people make fun of you what insight, your an amazing talent!
Whats next a night out with Braylon and beating up on some poor bum cause your whole potential is a fake, thought you were better than this, but turns out your like the rest of the bums, your only a Brown by the sense of the word, but not in the heart or soul. Step aside, let Derek finish the wrecking job you helped started, then at the end of the season take a flight out of town with Lerner, Mangina, and Braylon and have a nice life. Cleveland deserves a class team with class players, not a bunch of morons and clowns!!! BEAT IT BRADY

LOL ... talk about lack of class ... maybe you should look in the mirror! Brady Quinn is a professional athlete who isn't the problem in Cleveland ... and whining about Quinn and dogging him like you are only shows that you are another armchair sports fan with no idea what it takes to be a successful athlete ... much less a decent person. At least Quinn showed he has a sense of humor ... which is more than you have!

Tell me abut it!!! Then our dumbass coaching staff went and signed him for another 5 YEARS!!! Is the definition of insanity not "trying the same thing repeated times and expecting different results", as Einstein once put it??

For those that don't listen to rap music. It is common for rappers to talk about people and circumstances in 'pop culture'. And for you slow people that would include sports.

You know, I honestly don't think Cleveland's problems are no way Brady Quinn's fault I honestly feel they start in the Ownership, and Front Office. Obviously Changing coaches didn't change anything with the way the team performs on the field did it? The players are playing for a ownership group I feel don't want to produce a winning orginazation and yes I do feel Brady deserves his due and to be the Starting QB.

They gave the not-so-mighty Quinn a chance, and he gobbled its balls. What more do you want?
