Times are tough for Buffalo Bills fans. The team hasn't qualified for the postseason since 1999 -- with only one winning season in the process -- while they've hit a glass-ceiling of seven wins the past three years. On Sunday, the Bills were throttled by Miami, 38-10, a game that saw starting quarterback Trent Edwards complete 14 of 26 passes for 192 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions, one of which was returned 23 yards for a touchdown by Vontae Davis. How are people in Buffalo handling the constant losing? If you're a former player, you call the team out on Twitter. And if you're a fan? Musical parody, of course.
First on the playlist is Hey There Trent Edwards, a play on the song Hey There Delilah that is dedicated to the Buffalo quarterback affectionately nicknamed, "Captain Checkdown."
On Tuesday, the folks at WGR 550 came out with another parody cover, this time pondering the question: "When Will Jauron get fired?" All set to the tune of Billy Joel's We Didn't Start The Fire.
