If there were any lingering doubts that Braylon Edwards might have given something less than 100 percent during his final season (or two) in Cleveland, his Monday night performance with his new team removed all doubt. Traded to the Jets earlier in the week, Edwards caught five passes for 64 yards, including a touchdown (as well as another reception down to the Dolphins' 1-yard line). And the guy known for hands of stone in recent years caught everything thrown in his direction. Weird.
Long-suffering Browns fans were unimpressed with Edwards' sudden resurgence and they let the former third-overall pick know about it via Twitter. Which prompted this response from Braylon.

As for what prompted Braylon to send the tweet, SportsbyBrooks has a sampling. Yeah, Browns fans can kindly be described as disgruntled.

I think the nfl should look into Braylon dropping passes on purpose. I think he was pretty stupid for doing this. Now it is obvious what he was doing.
He is a loser.
Haha...you tell them Braylon. Stupid Browns(tains) fans.
Braylon is a bum......
Impressive, he caught 5 passes for 64 yards...wow what a feat for a NFL premiere reciever...AMAZING.
I agree with kjacobsand how obvious this all is. One of two things come to mind.....Browns and Browns fans file a lawsuit against him for him obvious poor performance as a Brown. Second thought is he is betting on games and bobbling passes.....Think about that for a minute
For you Mr. lbknicks1 New York guy, whe your Jets are sucking and find them selves at home at the end of the season, and your posting a log about Braylons poor performance, have the balls to recall your support for Braylon today. Hes a bum just like your 2006 Wonder coach Man-gina, can only imagine your postings about him and how great he was in 2006...........Braylons a bum, and he knows it as well as you know it.
Braylon did not catch everything thrown his way vs the Dolphins. I saw him drop a catch-able ball in that game. Not sure why you didn't see it.
