Elie Seckbach, the Embedded Correspondent, brings his exclusive video reporting to FanHouse. Check back regularly for more videos. At 6-foot-5, Oscar-nominated Michael Clarke Duncan is a pretty big dude, who also happens to be pretty good at Muay Thai. In fact, before starring in such films as the Green Mile and Talladega Nights, Michael used his fighting skills as a bodyguard, working for Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, and the Notorious B.I.G., among others.
In this video we ask Duncan if he would ever get into the octagon to face MMA stars, and we get an interesting answer.
Interview after the jump.

Michael, how old are you, in your 50's? I mean get a reality check, bro. You have as much chance succeeding with this absurdity as Kirstie Alley has getting into a size 2 dress. You ain't George Foreman fighting some stiff with gloves on. This is a real brawl we're talking about. Oh I get it now, they're going to pit you against John Wooden. My bad.

Let me join the chorus. Gerhard Mousasi... that's an MMA fighter. Fedor Emelianenko... that's an MMA fighter. You can't just be big, have some striking and grappling training and roll with the boys. Michael Clark Duncan: I love your movies. Green Mile one of my favs. Stick to that and leave the fighting to those who've done it all their lives.

Gotta tell ya, this guy, going against an MMA Scrub will get knocked out. He may be tough, and even in good shape, but a Scrub could wipe the floor with him.

duncan has trained for quite a while and been one of the most vocal supporters of mma for just as long. respect the man who has supported the sport before you knew what it was.

I remember when Ed "Two Tall" Jones briefly left football to try boxing. It wasn't too long before he returned to football. Michael may be big and tough BUT that doesn't automatically guarantee success as an MMA fighter. A lot of those guys looks small and rather compact too me. Stay in the movies. The money is decent and you don't get beat up. That is why the Rock will not return to wrestling. He can always make more for doing less in a crappy movie then he can make as a wrestler.
