Erin Andrews is a celebrity. And she has been since her sideline-sandwich-eating was made famous by various sports blogs. But then, as everyone knows by now, her fame took a dark turn in the past few months, if I may understate the whole "super-creepy-peephole-stalker" angle. After that, America collectively (despite the continued evil nature and inherent Lucifer-esque quality of sports blogs) got its act together and decided to stop ogling Andrews in the open. Unfortunately, someone forgot to tell Rutgers fans that EA is now off-limits -- in the video after the jump, you'll see where some kid in the stands decided that screaming "ERIN!!!!" and "MARRY ME!!!" was the classy thing to do (maybe he thought he was at a Jonas Brothers concert or something).
All potshots at New Jersey aside, it obviously wasn't. Fortunately for Andrews, she got to interview "Lil' Jovi" after the game.
Like I said, classy. Almost as classy as Lil' Jovi giving what appears to be a pretty aggressive symbol to the ESPN camera. But I'm sure that's just a "really popular Jersey/Jovi dance move." Uh-huh. Right.

She seems like a nice girl who does not deserve the abuse she has gotten.People should think of their sisters or daughters before saying anything off color to this beautiful women....
I go to Rutgers. And call me "unclassy", but screaming "MARRY ME" isn't something meant to be offensive. If anything, it should be flattering. This p.c garbage is too much. Take it easy.
Agreed. PC garbage. I know Erin Andrews is trying to be respected as a journalist, but she has to admit if it wasn't for her looks she would not be working any sideline or court. TV wants attractive and although she may know what she is talking about in the sports world, she was definitely hired for the combination, not just one or the other.
I absolutely agree with you. Marry me is not at all offensive. She is in the public eye and she is just going to have to deal with it.
Classy lady.....I hope she has a happy and successful life.
I agree with adit. It was a COMPLIMENT to her! This PC stuff is over the top!!
uhh why is this even considered newsworthy??? let's move on with stories of this reporter
LEAVE HER ALONE ALREADY, GEEZ!!!
another overpaid Barbie, why not try a person with down syndrome to do the same work. I would listen more. True beauty is inside. Im tired at looking at all these pretentious types getting air time. Go sweep a floor, or clean a toilet! Then think again how important fashion is, and your blonde highlights with a inflate a b oob job.
So since she happens to be beautiful on the outside, that automatically makes her a bad person at heart? Let me guess, you're just jealous of her looks and popularity. Many people are gorgeous inside and out. Maybe she could have plastic surgery to make her uglier, would that make you respect her more? Grow up.
Boopelybee your sexist and don't know what your talking about. Erin Andrews is a pretty good sideline reporter she knows her stuff.
I agree this pc thing is way over the top, i think that people should speak thier minds some say marry me, some may call her a ho.......yeah this pc thing is way over the top
Agree entirely with the Rutgers student...''marry me'' is demeaning? Un-bunch your panties and relax a little...it's, quite obviously, not a serious question and most would find it an innocent compliment. EA is a beautiful woman and because she was victimized by some perv, are we now supposed to pretend that we do not notice that she is attractive. PLEASE...while I would not scream out ''marry me'' out of respect for my own dignity...if she were open to it, I would undoubtedly marry her tomorrow...ha.
Sideline reporters offer nothing what so ever to any televised sporting event. It is such non-sense. All it is for the most part is a little t&a to attract more male viewers. The questions and the comments usually are so ridiculous, they aren't even worth listening too. That my friends is why we have DVR's; so, you can pass up the garbage to get back to the game.
Your dead wrong Geldonski sideline reporters are pretty good they know there stuff like Erin Andrews she knows her sports and she is pretty and beautiful so there not non-sense as you have have claim. Your the one being ridiculous Geldonski.
This 'article' has generated only 11 (now 12 comments)....... enough said.
Ps. Whatever happened to the perp that took the video? hmmmmm something sticks more than her reporting..
something 'stinks'
Tell Susie Kolber how much being an attractive female helps on TV. Joe Namath gets cocked and makes unwanted nor warranted advances on her. AND she looses her job!! The guy in the stands sounded half-cocked too.
I'm not saying Andrews 'deserved' the peephole thing.
But - let me tell you from first-hand experience, she LOVES the attention.
Attended a college basketball game last year and she literally walked across the court during a time out, wearing tight pants, etc etc. She then stood in front of the pep band the entire timeout, on the court! Not on the side of the court - on the court!
Leave her alone, she doesn't need this kind of abuse. The lady trying to do a job, and i think she does it well
