I don't know what's more troubling: the fact that Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Namath has a yellow Lab that has been declared "dangerous" by the Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, or what the consequences entail for the condemned six-year-old dog. According to the Associated Press, the dog, named Leo, has attacked several people at Namath's South Florida home in recent years and as a result, is now deemed "dangerous." Which in the canine world is just like a scarlet letter, save the part about dogs not wearing any clothes or being able to read.
As a dangerous dog, Leo must now be muzzled and leashed even on Namath's property. It must have a microchip implanted and carry a special "dangerous" dog designation tag. Namath must also now post signs on his property warning of the dog's presence. And if Leo has another incident, he could be declared "vicious" right before he is declared "euthanized."
Namath declined to comment.
In related news, Leo drunkenly tried to make out with Cesar Millan during a recent PetCo commercial shoot, and that precipitated the current investigation.*

Well first of all i would like to ask , Why do people have dogs .Yes they make good companions, Better than 99% of people . We all get dogs so they can watch over us , which they do very well. But when someone invades their territory and they react as they are supposed to they should be rewarded not put on trial if you will ,They Are Dogs!! Thats what they do. If the Property was posted, and this guy did not follow the rules and announce his presence and allow someone to put up the dog before going onto the property. Then he got what was coming to him. The dog should be rewarded and the guy from Buster Brown Inc . Should be put on trial for trespassing. Doesnt matter weather Joe ordered something or it was sent by someone else no one should go onto someone else`s property unannounced. I know what your thinking ,oh this guy is a fan or he is a dog lover . Well your right on both accounts ,but right is right, and wrong is wrong. Dog right, UPS driver wrong. He got hurt probably running for his life from a golden retreiver LOL , wonder what he would have done with my two Dobermen`s. Probably would have gave a whole new meaning to The Brown shorts, Which by the why my two doberman`s think they are chihuahua`s until you go where you arent welcome.Anyway Joe, Keep your head up and Know your right and this guy is wrong and just looking to retire early as most are these days.
This dog can be operated on and it will be a calm loving animal, See your Vet, I saw it done at UCLA. Lester
It's always the dogs fault, never the owner! Geeze. Namath has money and IF he loves his dog or even cares for it a little....Call Cesar Milan! The Dog Whisperer to help out with this beautiful animal before it ends up being put to sleep!
Instead of worrying over the dog you need to be paying attention to what your daughter is up to.....being she was just arrested!
Get the dog the help it's needing or find it another home. You obviously have no idea what your doing on either count, the dog and the kid!
