Buffalo Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens was addressing reporters after Sunday's game when someone's phone started ringing. He didn't seem to like it.
As the video above shows, when Owens heard the ring he turned to his left, glared at the unseen holder of the phone, and said, "Pardon you." He seemed quite offended that someone would interrupt him.
There was a time, maybe 10 years ago, when I felt the same as Owens: It drove me nuts when people's phones would start to ring at inopportune times. But now I actually think our society has changed to the point where Owens is overreacting here.
Yes, the guy should have turned his ringer off before the press conference, but in a world where cell phones are ubiquitous, we all just have to do our best to ignore such things. Owens decided to draw more attention to it than he needed to.

hahahaha, terrell owens is such a piece of trash, one touchdown catch and were halfway thru the season, what a joke. Im a philly fan and we were glad to have him here and even when he acted up i was willing to remain a fan because he was producing but man has he fallen off the planet. To play in the nfl is a priviledge and an honor and it just makes me sick to see players that just believe that they are bigger than the game like ocho cinco but at least that retard is still producing. What a shame it is that such a raw talent like owens is going to be remembered more for his drama and immaturity than he will for his play on the field, there was a time when he struck fear into opposing defenses but now he is a mere afterthought and as far as the reporter with his phone going off I have to agree with terell owens, I was recently at my step sisters wedding when a phone went off twice during the ceremony and it was the same person, but other than that terell owens has completely bottomed out and will be lucky if another team takes a chance on him again, i could see him having one more decent year but how many teams are willing to put up with his garbage mouth.
if terrell owens phone had gone off during a press conference it would have made NFL nation news that T.O. was in some way being rude or had intentionally caused the incident to happen to bring attention to himself.
Michael Smith - this entire piece is jounalism garbage. Leave T.O. alone and report on facts of the game. That is what a "good" jounalist would do.
He is offended when someone's cell phone rings, but how disrespectful can you be by wearing sun glasses when speaking.
I dislike TO, but he doesn't deserve criticism for this. He was smiling, which means he was joking.
i dislike him also especially because of what he did did to the niners while he was there. He was joking guys! i think its all yall who r overreacting now
TO is a jerk!!
I would never attend a TO press conference unless I was a news reporter but I would not have my phone on vibrate either because TO only thinks of TO.
uh, hello? he was obviously joking...he was trying to make light of a press conference that was hell bent on getting him to call out his QB
this article is retarded and it just goes to show that people go out of their way to make him look bad....if brady had done this, everyone would have laughed it off and moved on
stupid ass media
