If Tiger had an affair, so be it, it's out in the open now, but what is it with all these other women now claiming additional affairs with Tiger too? If these women were so concerned, why didn't they do something about it before now? Were they waiting for something spectacular to happen before they made their claims? It seems they are just trying to get on the band wagon and get publicity for themselves. Tiger has enough problems, why does the media seem to thrive on someones personel problems? I bet if one of the media stars had similar problems, they would just love to have it splashed all over the nation/world. I'm not particulary a Tiger fan, but give the guy a break with the publicity and the media leeching already.
Someone looking for attention? Say it isn't so! There are NEVER any cases of people anywhere doing something just for the chance at stardom. It just doesn't happen. Nobody kept a blue dress in her closet for years waiting for the right time to get the goods on a President and parlay that into a fashion and acting "career" attempt. Nobody had a relationship (and possibly a son) with a Presidential candidate and did not come forward until doing so would completely tank his chances at the White House (all in exchange for many months of hush money). No, famous men do not have anything to worry about if they want to play around behind their wives backs. [/sarcasm]
Seriously, there are MANY reasons why some of these women would have kept their relationship secret for so long. Perhaps there were threats by Woods legal team. Perhaps he was paying them money to keep quiet. Perhaps they were honestly in love and waiting for him to leave Elin. Perhaps they just were enjoying the time and the "star sex" moments. Or, hell, perhaps they were keeping journals and hoping some day to parlay it into their own 15 minutes of fame. A period of silence does not make the story false.
I agree with you. If you took a poll on how many people has had an affair, you will find out that about 30-40% of the people has had at least one or two of them, over their marriage.

I believe the reason most of these women are coming out of the woodwork is, before this story broke, they all thought they were exclusive and now they themselves feel betrayed. Tiger probably told each one he wasn't happy in his marriage so he could have his cake and eat it too.
If he was a basketball star would all this matter,the life of a golf pro on tour or a teaching pro,in the north means you go to the south for work and play,on tour different town different women ,many pros not married for that reason. First of all, those "cocktail waitresses" are not mistreses. Those dump trucks give mistresses a bad name. The white public is upset a Tiger--not so much of his infidelity and that "he let down so many people" , its becuse he was laid some dark meat to so many white women.
